When Will It Be Golf Season?
This has been one long winter, hasn’t it? December was cold. I don’t even remember if it was snowy. January was both cold and snowy. And February has been more of the same, and the end is not yet in site, except maybe on the calendar. The same snow that fell on the ground in early January is still on the ground, buried under a couple of feet of new snow. There has only been slight melting. But those of you in Chicago know this. It’s been a rough one.
But, winter must end sometime. In honor of the end of winter, I thought I would post something “summery,” so I am posting “A Blessing for the Golfer.” The actual piece has one more stanza than shown in green here.
So clean those clubs! Think green! Think spring! And March Madness is yet to come!
