A time for new beginnings!
Are you tired of all the news shows showing the highlights and lowlights of 2013? Me too. But it’s over.
Here’s to a happy, prosperous, exciting, interesting, fun-filled, stimulating, healthy, adventurous, travel-filled, organized, basement-cleaned, office-cleaned, computer-cleaned, cavities-fixed, cars fixed, and so on . . . (is that redundant to put ellipses after “and so on”?; and if I said “etc.” that would be redundant too, correct?) etc. year. (Good! I wanted to break a grammatical rule at the end of the year! Forgive me. Last rule broken for the year. I think!)
I did want to mention some things that I am thankful for at the end of 2013. I am grateful to be married to the best wife anyone could have. I am grateful for two beautiful and intelligent and hard-working daughters. I am grateful for the cutest puppy in the world. I am grateful for my brother and sisters and their families and extended families, and for my wife’s brothers and their families and extended families, and for my own parents and my wife’s parents too. I am grateful for health in our families, and for the hope of a new year. I am grateful that I am getting to work in a business that excites me, that intrigues me, that offers a new and different product mix and that offers the opportunity for me to write and produce what I like to think are interesting and beautiful items for the home or office. And I am grateful that 2014 will be the breakout year for this idea! I am grateful and excited!
May 2014 be your best year ever too!
Sincerely,
Dan
