Ah! This is real winter!
It is still very cold, and snow is everywhere. And it is being blown everywhere else by a very cold wind. We think we had a coyote at our front door and our back door a couple of nights ago. Today, a hawk swooped down near our little dog, and must have decided that the dog was a bit too big to carry off. We are glad of that! But the hawks and the coyotes and the deer and the other animals must be getting hungry as their natural eating habits are messed up by the weather. But they will become more daring and adventurous the hungrier they get. So I hope this nasty weather doesn’t go on too much longer!
Anyway, here is a silly little piece written for our puppy when she was really more of a puppy. She likes to sit on the back of the couch and look out the window. It is her own live TV show, without the TV. I can make one just for your puppy, and include your puppy’s name on it. Best of all, it isn’t just for puppies! Older dogs will like it too.
(Or, I can write one especially for your puppy, or your dog. You just need to tell me a little about your dog that you would like included in the text. See the Commissioned Poems pages.)
