We Are Home
We Are Home.
For those who have loved, lost, and loved again.
“We danced without a partner
to music without words,
each alone in different worlds,
wandering—lost—on roads unknown
and wondering where our lives had gone . . .
Those roads we took, all alone,
took us where we’d never been,
and taught us things we’d never known.
Those roads will dip;
those roads will bend;
we took those roads to the end,
finding what we had not known—
we’re each in love with our best friend.
We found a love to call our own;
we were lost but now we’re home.”
