Bubba Watson won the Masters.  Webb Simpson won the US Open.
The British Open awaits at Royal Lytham & St. Anne’s in
Lancashire, England, starting July 19.
Here’s a golf poem, entitled “A Blessing for the Golfer.”
A Blessing for the Golfer 8x10 Portrait LtBrownFrame/BurntRedMatte

May morning’s scent be green and sweet

when you answer ancient call.

May your grip be gently firm

and your eyes stay on the ball.

May all your drives find fairways

and may they travel far.

May irons find a place to land

that helps you make your par.

May your wedge float high and softly drop.

May your chips caress the slope.

May your putts locate that perfect break

to always give you hope.

May traditions of this ancient game

forever stay with you.

May you play with pride and class,

and to this game be true.
