Friend to Friend. For Your Friend.

A poem for a long-time friend.

” . . . You’ve been there,
as you were then,
to share my life,
to be my friend.”

Friends. Celebrate Friendship.

A woman, who happened to be an accomplished artist, had a best friend from her high school days. They were geographically separated for many years as they married and had children and as careers took them to different parts of the country. In their later years, it so happened that they both relocated to the same area, and were able to re-establish their friendship, and it was as if nothing of significance had really changed.  I think that’s nice. She asked me to write something to celebrate that friendship, and to give as a gift.  “Friend to Friend” was the result.  They both loved it.  I was happy to share a small part of their lives for just a little while!

Do something nice for a friend this week, or this month. You’ll both feel good about it.
